REMORA has been designed to be installed offshore in shallow water, near renewable energy sources such as wind turbines or solar panels in order to store the energy they produce intermittently. The use of compressed air will make it possible to feed back up to 70% of the electricity stored, compared with around 40% for similar existing systems.

The Franco-German research project InnoTherMS aims at designing an innovative thermal management system for electric vehicles in order to address the current challenge of limiting the vehicles’ energy consumption to what is strictly necessary. The technologies developed target an increase in driving autonomy of at least 10% for this vehicle.
Launched by Swiss explorer Raphaël Domjan, the SolarStratos project consists of building a two-seater aircraft powered only by solar energy, capable of flying into the stratosphere, i.e. an altitude of between 12 and 50 kilometres, with the goal of promoting a cleaner aviation.
SOxLOW enables the desulfurization of heavy fuel oil and the fact that it can be done on-board ships for continuous treatment. This process combines different chemical and biological techniques, never used before on heavy fuel oils and enabling the ships to respect the MARPOL convention on sea pollution.
